About The Site Llyn Rhyn Campsite is situated within an area of outstanding natural beauty being located conveniently alongside the A5104 and just five minutes from the Horseshoe Pass and the Llandegla Forest Mountain Bike Centre. This small family run site is within easy walking distance of the local pub and restaurant where good food and drink are available. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty with the Offa’s Dyke Path passing through the farm as does the upper stages of the River Alun. The site makes an ideal base for Walkers, Cyclists, Mountain Bikers, Birdwatchers, Scouts and Independent Campers alike Facilities On Site The site can accommodate caravans, tents and motorhomes. A toilet and shower are available to campers using the site. The local pub is just a few yards down the road and it serves good food and drink and the good old fashioned Sunday lunch. Pitches The Campsite offers: one field and two lawned areas. Hook ups for a small number of caravans are available
Facilities Nearby And Places Of Interest Oneplanet Adventure, Mountain Bike Centre offering trails for all levels of mountain bikers through the 650 hectares of forestry is just a short drive away. Also within easy reach of the site is the Horseshoe Pass offering excellent walks with views of the Dee Valley, Eglwseg Escarpment, Clwydian Range and Llantysilio Mountains. There are 3 Pub / Restaurants, all within walking distance: - the Crown, the Willows and the Plough. The site also offers itself as a base for exploring the nearby towns of Llangollen and Ruthin just 15 mins drive away or on a few more miles to visit Bala.
