About The Site Riverside Campsite is located in Cononley just three miles south of Skipton in North Yorkshire. Riverside Campsite offers a warm welcome whether you are staying in your Caravan, Motorhome or Tent. The site has all the usual facilities of toilets, hot showers and the likes with the addition of a play area for the children. Riverside Campsite is located in Aire Valley, between Keighley and Skipton and is in walking distance of the village of Cononley and the local Railway Station which provides an alternative mod of transport for those wanting to visit nearby Skipton. Facilities On Site Riverside Campsite has the benefit of all the usual facilities including toilets, showers chemical waste disposal point and electric hook-ups and pot washing facilities, children's play area with sand pit. Dogs are welcome on this site providing they are supervised and owner clean up after them. Pitches There are five hard standings, additional grass pitches and an area for tents. The site also has Rally facilities with a separate rally field available. There are no Static Caravans on this site but there is a log pod available for hire at reasonable rates, phone for details.
Facilities Nearby And Places Of Interest The area offers some great walks for and stimulating scenery. Local attractions in the area include the nearby village of Cononley, just a short walk from the site, where you will find two local pubs The New Inn and The Railway Inn and a shop / Post Office. The New Inn well known for its excellent food cask ale but both pubs reported as being very popular with campers on the site. Takeaway food is also available in the village. Cononley Railway station also provides a means of transportation for those wanting to leave the car behind and maybe visit Skipton just a short trip down the line our take a trip down the Settle Carlisle line to take in some of the best scenery you will see from the seat of a train. Skipton about 3 miles away offers even more with shops, restaurants and local market on various days of the week, not to be missed if you like a good market. Site Fees

Directions To Site Situated off the A629, from Skipton, turn right into Cononley, (or Left if coming from Keighley ), over the level crossing, go foe 100m then turn sharp right into Moorfoot Lane. The site can be found over the bridge on the left. |
